Armour All and Rain-X are good car products. They've been around forever and do a great job of protecting plastic and repelling water. if used four times a year they will make a significant improvement to your vehicles plastic and your driving experience in rain. If you apply them every once in awhile it's better than nothing, but you're missing out on some of the benefit. Of course, like everything, they cost money. If you park your car outside it's really helpful to go ahead and use them more often; plus you get the added benefit of exercise in applying them.
