what's going on here ?
2 Peter 3
[9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men
count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any
should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Revelation 22
[11] He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
Why would God want the verse in Revelation? Doesn't God want everyone to repent? If they remain filthy they're Damned. I think it's because the future is fixed. Things are going to remain the way things are going to remain in the future. So of course that begs the question what difference does it make what we do? And the answer is that you are going to be judged based on your works for your rewards. So if you do good works you will get good rewards. Your eternal salvation is based on your faith in Jesus Christ, so believe in Jesus. It may all be fixed but you still need to do your part. Don't be the filthy part, be the righteous part.
