why can't we see God ?

 The answer of this is probably unknowable. But there's sort of this mysterious thing going on where we're being tested and demonstrating our faith in an invisible God. So what if God doesn't exist? Then we believed in something that doesn't exist. What if you're an atheist but you said to yourself I'm going to start telling people I believe in Jesus and I believe in God but inside I'm going to know the truth that they don't really exist. And some people came to you and said if you don't renounce your belief in Jesus and God we're going to kill you. And you thought to yourself I don't really believe in Jesus or God but I'm stubborn and they can't tell me what to do. So you kept telling them that you believed in Jesus and God and they kill you. The whole time you're thinking it doesn't really matter because we all die in the near future anyway. In reality I'll win because they didn't tell me what to do. So what will happen to your soul in this case? You profess Jesus Christ as your savior, but inside you were saying I don't believe that they exist. It's a tough problem, I'm sure God will figure it out.
