why so fragile ?

Why would God create humans so fragile? Polar bears rarely if ever drink water. Much of the year they live on frozen ice and they swim in saltwater. Many animals, especially desert animals rarely if ever drink water. If humans don't drink water every 3 days they will die. A human in a hot desert environment will die in a few hours without water. Without weapons humans are an easy kill for most predators. What makes us dangerous is a spear or a stone ax or some other simple weapon. Suddenly we become king of the carnivores. But without a simple weapon we become lunch. When King David was a Shepherd boy he killed a bear and a lion with a slingshot. He then went on to kill a giant that people think was over 9 ft tall. But without that weapon his dead body would have been eaten by carnivores and birds. If memory serves, monkeys are six times stronger than we are for their size. They can lift objects much heavier than they are. Why are we so weak and frail. A small bump on the head can kill you.

There are stories where people survive incredible accidents. For instance the elevator operator of the empire State building. She fell almost from the top of the building into the basement on a Free falling elevator. She survived and went back to being an elevator operator. When I was a kid, if you wore a helmet on your bicycle other kids would have laughed at you. It wouldn't surprise me if more kids die now on bicycles wearing helmets. Now I'm probably wrong, but it would just make the point. We're easy to kill, even by accident.

Humans work incredibly hard and smart to make survival easier. We've mechanized much of farming in America so that a few thousand people feed most Americans and other people around the world. Only to have our leaders work diligently to get us all killed. It's a very strange environment. It's a very strange test God is putting us through. It doesn't appear to make any sense. Spend billions of dollars coming up with ways to make our food sources secure only to spend trillions of dollars building bombs to kill us all.
