God killed the firstborn

 The final plague in Egypt was that God killed the firstborn of every animal and person. So if God had been willing to kill the first through the 10th born then the children of Israel could have just taken over Egypt. Most likely pharaoh and everybody else would have been dead. Seems like God could kill 10 people just as easy as he could kill one.
