 In this dream there is a guy and a woman. There are Bunches of other people. I'm watching The dream but I'm only in the dream at the very end. The guy sort of looks like Jim Carrey but not exactly. The girl is in her 20s and attractive I don't think I recognized her. So the girl and some of her officemates are going out to dinner at a nice restaurant in a hotel with underground parking. The restaurant is crowded but they all finally get seated somehow the scam guy gets involved. He's trying to get away from the police and he's hiding out from other scam members. He somehow gets involved with the woman and they're running around the hotel. At some point she realizes that she's involved with a scam with him. Somehow it turns out she's very good at it and she starts sort of running things. Then they're outside in cars for a while. There's something in the car that the guy needs. It's stolen and he's using some kind of device to open and close the doors but he has another button that looks like the real button but doesn't work. So when the cops come up and say is this your car he says yes see I can open and close the doors. He very cleverly hides the device in his left hand and pretends that he's pushing the buttons on the key fob in his right, and he keeps calling attention to the key fob, see I can push the button and he gently pushes his thumb down but in his left hand he's actually pushing some other little device that doesn't look anything like a key fob. So the cops go away. Then his other scam members finally catch up to him but they somehow work out a deal. It seems really complicated and the details don't really seem to make much sense. They keep talking but I'm not even sure what the scam is. And the very last scene I'm sitting with the girl she's saying something and I say something back but the point is it's self-deprecating whatever I say. In other words she's in charge and I'm basically going along for the ride. There are many other short scenes in the dream. It really seems like a modern movie of some sort. Scam artist somehow bumps into attractive woman. he's able to use her to his benefit somehow. She catches on and is able to fit in well enough to start manipulating him.

Interpretation of the dream:

This dream is nothing like my marriage until the very last few seconds. My wife generally ran things and I generally went along. We really didn't do anything intriguing or scammy. I look nothing like Jim Carrey and my wife looked nothing like this woman in the dream. 

Maybe the dream is intended to demonstrate how I think I'm very clever but actually not making much sense. Although many of my plans are carried out to completion, and never involved trying to deceive the police, maybe it's the way I go through life or something. Not really paying that much attention to what's going on around me, just being overly obsessed with my own business. This doesn't really seem like a reasonable interpretation of the dream. I don't really even fantasize very much about some crazy scenario. We all like to think we're James Bond at times, but not really. Another interesting thing about the dream is that although the setting is upscale it's completely unnotable. There isn't anything distinctive in the dream.
