God creates the heaven and the Earth 

God creates all the stuff that goes on the Earth

God creates Adam and Eve

God make sure that Adam and Eve sin

God causes sin to multiply on the Earth 

God destroys everything but eight people and some animals

God causes more sin

God causes people to believe in false gods

God picks Abraham

God picks Isaac and Jacob

God causes a drought

God sends everybody into Egypt to slavery 

God hardens Pharaoh's heart and kills a bunch of people 

God kills some Israelites in the desert

God puts the Israelites back in the promised Land

God causes the Israelites to sin some more 

God sends everyone to Babylon

God brings everyone back

God causes more sin and hypocrisy

God comes to Earth as Jesus to save us from eternal damnation

Jesus floats off into the sky with some fuzzy directions on telling everybody about the kingdom of heaven

God causes More sin to occur

Jesus commands that iniquity shall abound and many hearts shall wax cold 

And that's where we're at.

We like to think this is somehow about us, but it's all about God.
