teeth
Why are teeth so horrible? They're far more trouble than any other part of your body other than maybe your sex organs. But I'd have to say overall teeth require more ongoing maintenance and have more problems repeatedly than anything else on your body.
Your tongue requires no maintenance at all. And look at your hands and feet. Some people have problems with toenails or fingernails. Some people have sore feet that require special shoes or special therapy. But overall hands and feet work is expected and generally don't complain too much and don't require any ongoing maintenance other than trimming fingernails and toenails. Generally you don't have to get cavities filled in your fingernails or have false fingernails put in when they fall out. Your knees pretty much do okay your whole life without any maintenance. Like most of your body stuff is just there and you expect it to work. At this later part of life my intestines are becoming a larger and larger part of my everyday routine. This is because I'm aging. Even though I'm still active my intestines require more activities so I don't get constipated. But over your lifetime teeth are far more troublesome. I asked the dental hygienist did people in years gone by lose their teeth early in life? She said, no, it is because we eat processed foods. She didn't have any other answer. Somehow eating processed foods changes the bacteria that's in your mouth and causes teeth to decay much worse and all kinds of mouth problems I guess. Like gum disease. But your tongue does just fine. Your cheeks seem to be okay. Anything else in there I'm unaware of having problems with it, just teeth and gums.
Now I am certainly not trying to get in trouble here but I've pondered for a long long time if Satan didn't help design our sex organs. They seem so weird and they also seem sort of stuck on. And they also double in our waste management system which is disgusting. But teeth run a very close second to being the weirdest thing on our body, certainly the biggest hassle.
