where's the buffet ?

 God sends Moses into Egypt to get the children of Israel out. They're crying out the Lord because of all the evil that pharaoh and the Egyptians are doing to them. And so God sends in an elite rescue team, Moses and Aaron. God is going to do all the heavy lifting with a bunch of miracles that will leave Egypt practically destroyed. Moses goes and gets the children of Israel and leads them out into the desert.

 God leads them 3 days out into the desert with no food or water. God does this to test them according to the Bible. So the children of Israel, many of whom are adults and old people, go to Moses and complain. If I had been there I'd want to know, where's the buffet? God just performed a long list of horrible plagues, now can we have our daily provisions met with steak and lobster and where's the champagne fountain? And it would be nice to have some angelic waiters and waitresses running around here. After all we're God's chosen people. We're God's elite army of killer priests, we need to be lean mean and well fed. Where's our daily exercise routine? And don't we need some memorization and education? God created everything, so it would be great if he taught us some creativity. And where's the dessert bar?
