high structure climbing dream
Me another guy and a little girl are climbing on some structure that is thousands of feet tall. I don't recognize it. It's fairly easy to hold on to as Long as you focus on what you're doing. But if you get distracted and let go you'll fall thousands of feet to your death. So me and this other guy are being fairly responsible but still you can feel the sense of urgency. The little girl is just sort of acting like oh, what's the big deal, we're just up here thousands of feet in the air. I keep telling her to make sure she's holding on, but of course she finally let's go and falls, but then she grabs on to something at the very last second. I fully expected to look down and see her falling smaller and smaller, falling to her death, but instead she's still holding on. So the other guy reaches down and grabs her arm and lifts her up. At this point I started saying over and over again to the other guy, you got to hold on, there's nothing else you can do you've got to hold on there's nothing else you can do. There's a fourth person that's sort of nearby too that's trying to help the little girl seems completely nonchalant about the whole thing. She finally does get holding on again but she's just completely distracted by everything going on, not really paying attention to the fact that she's thousands of feet up in the air. That's how the dream ends with me saying over and over again you got to hang on there's nothing else you can do. Everyone is still alive and the little girl is just kind of acting like, oh gee.
Interpretation of the dream: I spent years living in the city. In the city they're super obsessed with putting Black and yellow striped tape around everything that remotely looks a little bit dangerous. Everybody is always obsessed with getting sued. Companies put railings all over the place to keep you from tripping or to keep you away from a little 6-in drop. And of course the news goes on and on about it. All the while there's a murder rape and pillaging going on all over the place.
Anyway I have now moved to a place where there are many natural sites to see that are very dangerous. If you fall to your death it's just too bad for you. People have tried to sue over the deadly accidents that their loved ones have had, but the courts just throw it out. Natural sites are dangerous the court says. You have to use common sense or you're just going to die. This dream sort of had that feeling. That nobody was going to be too upset about it if this little girl fell thousands of feet to her death. It was a dangerous activity and she chose to do it even though she was only 5 years old.
Maybe the dream is trying to tell me it's all in your perspective. Most likely billions and billions of souls are going to get thrown into the lake of fire. Maybe God's attitude is, hey getting into the eternal Paradise takes responsibility. If you fall into the lake of fire it's just too bad for you. There's not going to be any Court to appeal to. You're just going to fall in there and everybody's going to be like, oh well too bad for you. This is going to happen to billions of people. You never come out you just burn screaming out in horror for all of eternity.
See Revelation 14 and 20. Jesus talks about it by parables in Matthew 13. Somehow Jesus parables don't convey the horror, maybe that's part of the meaning of the dream. Maybe Jesus knew he was going to die for everyone's sins, if they don't get it just too bad for them.
