Noah's ark
The trip on the ark was one of those events that split time basically into thirds. There was the time before the ark, there was the time until Jesus, and then there's been times since then. It seems almost supernaturally imposed that there is no physical evidence of the ark or Jesus.
For something as monumental as drowning the entire planet and putting every surviving land animal and insect into a boat with eight people don't you think it'd be worth keeping that boat as a shrine or something to what happens when things get out of control?
Wouldn't that be a useful thing to have and a big Stone out front with some writing on it that says if you guys screw this up I'm going to burn this entire planet up in a giant fireball signed your loving creator, God ?
Instead of some ridiculous Tower of Babylon why the heck didn't they build a giant building around the ark? And if the ark was way up on top of some mountain where it wasn't easily accessible why didn't they make it a massive project to bring the thing down to some City where they could easily build a big enclosure around it? They could sell tickets. And it would be required that people from all over the world would come and visit it and they would find out all about Noah and whatever Noah's wife's name was.
Wouldn't it be nice to know Noah's wife's name? Where's the rage? Why aren't people praying and praying. Why aren't there massive global prayer vigils crying out to our Creator, what is Noah's wife's name? It just seems people don't care anymore. You're worried about school loans or the latest war. Pollution, electric cars, asteroids, just a bunch of stupid stuff like that rather than stuff that really matters like Noah's ark and Noah's wife's name.
We know Eve's name. The woman who screwed up all of existence. Why didn't God just call her "Adam's wife, the woman that screwed up all of existence". We get to know her name but we don't get to know Noah's wife's name who didn't do anything wrong as far as we know.
No wonder we're so screwed up we've lost our way. We've lost touch with things that really matter. How sad
It looks like it might rain later, I better make sure my car windows are up.
