2. General motors has started making cars so that if the car is in drive and the car is stopped the engine will turn off. The particular vehicle I was in you could defeat this behavior in one of three ways. The easiest way was to get rid of the car and buy a Toyota. The next way was to put the car into manual mode and then manually shift up to 6th gear. The car would then keep running. The other way was to open the hood and disconnect the hood latch warning sensor. This would keep the car running when stopped in gear. The problem with this approach is the engine light would come on. The benefit of this approach is you don't have to do anything different when you get in the car every time. You just put it in drive and drive off. The rationale for having the engine turn off was to save gas at stop lights. You would have to be completely off your rocker to think this was a good idea. Oh, and if you put the car in any other gear including Park the engine would come back on. So how far do you think you're going to go in Park?
3. Toyota has decided that if the engine light comes on the cruise control should stop working. So no matter what is wrong with anything on the car it will turn off cruise control.

6.  I'm currently praying that Jesus will bring me home sooner rather than later. This can only get very bad at this point. The planet simply cannot survive. God can make people do incredibly stupid things and this is just the beginning. Bring me home now Jesus. It turns out we're created by God. We are artificially intelligent robots that act autonomously. Unfortunately God has programmed in deficiencies or functions that are malfunctioning. This is some sort of a test apparently based on the Bible. But when God programs in errors there's nothing you can do about it. Things are going to continue to get much much worse. But you're not supposed to commit suicide either this is cheating. So you can pray, but even that can be tricky. In the Old testament there are times God makes a concession with someone and things go very wrong. One example is Lot and the City of Zoar. Another example is one of the Kings asked for another 15 years of life. During that 15 years he has a son who turns out to be one of the worst kings of Israel. Now why God would make concessions with people that just turn into a disaster I'm not sure. Things seem to be a pretty big disaster without making them a bigger disaster. But that is where we are at. Things are going to become far stranger than they've been for the last 6,000 years. There is no escape. Pray hard, it's all you've got.
