smartphones and money

 It seems that our perception of smartphones drives much of their value. People that review smartphones have been pointing out for the last several years the budget smartphones are almost as good as the most expensive smartphones. In fact budget smartphones still have a 3 1/2 mm Jack and an SD card slot. Many super expensive smartphones leave these features off. 

I'm using two phones currently. One of them initially listed for $950 the other one initially listed for $300. The expensive one is slightly faster and slightly smoother, but one is certainly not three times faster or three times better. The battery doesn't last three times longer. But somehow when I pick both of them up the one feels better.Does it feel three times better, no.
