Elon Musk loves attention

 Elon Musk is incredibly successful in his business ventures. He doesn't appear to be terribly successful in family life as he has 10 kids by three different women. But when it comes to running businesses he seems to do pretty well at it. Watching him with Twitter shows a side of him that has been evident in the past but is now greatly exaggerated or more obvious. He loves attention. He generally won't put up with people who he doesn't get along with, but he doesn't get into long-running disputes or verbal exchanges where he's at odds with an individual. He seems to be able to keep people around him that he generally agrees with but who are extremely competent. Now I don't know exactly how he accomplishes that. Any company probably does this. They keep people they get along with and they get rid of people that they don't get along with. But somehow Elon Musk is able to keep his companies extremely successful whereas many companies sort of settle into a rut where they have some degree of success, but as time goes on the company gets stale.

In the case of Twitter it is obvious that he is firing thousands of people. And he goes on firing executives and anybody else that seems to cross his path. If he doesn't like what you're doing he just gets rid of you. Now Twitter was considered extremely liberal, banning people like Trump and other conservatives, so it just makes sense that when he goes in and starts firing all these liberals they're not going to like it. And since the press is incredibly liberal they try to make it look like it's all a big disaster. A year from now things will probably show that there were mistakes along the way but overall the company is in much better shape. The press May give sort of a left-handed compliment by saying something like although his approach defies logic Twitter continues to be successful. But the only logic they're defying is liberal logic. It's the only thing the press and liberals know. The thing that seems unusual is that Elon doesn't directly attack liberal values he simply puts forth how things are going to work for him. And he loves all the attention. Some people can get attention but then they get stuck or bogged down on some aspect of all the publicity. Elon seems to get all the publicity but still create tremendous success.
