fun with dreams

 This dream starts off and some sort of resort location it seems like and I can't remember the first part of it exactly but I'm kind of walking around doing something doesn't seem terribly important anyway at some point it switches.

So I'm sitting in the backseat of a government vehicle that looks like a 65 mustang but it's painted all up green and we drive up this long winding kind of almost cobblestone looking drive uphill. At a stop sign or a light we pull up behind another government vehicle and the guy just eases forward and bumps into the guy on purpose. Well I never can see anybody in the other car. But the guy keeps doing it he does it two or three times. Finally the car in front backs up and bumps into us. It doesn't appear to be doing any damage to either car. We start rolling backwards and the guy driving our car just looks in the rearview mirror and rolls down the hill without trying to put on the break at all. So we get up to what feels like about 30 miles an hour. And I think I say something like are we out of control or something but the car actually rolls to a stop without any incident. Then I get out and the next day starts.

In this phase I'm walking around the same grounds and I'm behind some buildings that I'm going to walk around and get back out in front. There's a small doorway in one building that looks like it's either a fire exit or something like that. I walk in there and close the door and when I look back it's all plastered in. Instead there's a tiny little opening in the wall with a door on that I opened that and you can look out but you can't there's no way you could fit through it. And I walk around the corner like you're in a stairwell but there aren't any stairs. There's another doorway going out the other side but a guy is just finishing plastering that. He then walks over to an electrical panel and opens it but instead of normal breakers there's just a mass of wires that look pretty dangerous. Like it's a some kind of kind of large electrical panel but without breakers in it. I look at the guy and say how do we get out of here and he says we don't. It doesn't really seem scary or anything that's what's kind of weird about it that's just the end of the dream.

 

 Interpretation of the dream: so without any sarcasm or any kidding around it appears this dream actually does have some sort of relative similarities to my perception of reality. God created us and we're all going to go through a series of events that we cannot control. You can't go to God and just opt out and say I'd like to go to some resort location somewhere for all of eternity and just you know do some menial type job or nothing bad ever happens or something or anywhere you can't you can't get out of this. And things happen and in the end they can turn out okay if you end up in heaven. Now that the end of the stream doesn't end up horrible but I'd certainly doesn't seem like very much fun getting stuck inside a building with an electrical panel and some guy you don't recognize. But he didn't seem threatening or upset about it and it didn't seem to bother me either. Now obviously that isn't the eternal lake a fire the eternal lake a fire is horrific with people screaming in horror for all of eternity. Maybe this is the watered down version or something. But that's kind of the way I view life and based on the Bible. Things can turn out okay if you end up in heaven things can turn out horrific if you end up in hell. There is no other option from what we read in the Bible. You either make it or you don't. Now the part where I just sort of entered the door or not really thinking about where it's headed is the way the vast majority of humanity lives life. In real life, When I talk about what will it be like to live for all of eternity without really thinking about what's going to happen on a daily basis, I can see that it makes people nervous. People just don't go through their daily activities pondering the vastness of eternity.

 

 How dreams work?: dreams come from God, but here is my thought on how it works. It isn't perfect. God tells angels, good and bad, what video(dream) to play in your brain. God gives instructions on what parts of our nervous system are to be engaged, pounding heart, cold sweat and so forth. Then God says how you will interact. Are you watching the dream or are you in the dream? Now the Angels may mess it up. There is a vast library of dream videos, and they have lots of programmable features, possibly even different eras in time. Or there may be templates to customize dreams.

 Oh, and people, Angels and demons sometimes enter your dream. Unfortunately this means they may be possessing some part of you during the dream. Very icky feeling, but we've all been there.
