God

Gathering evidence for the case of God existing is not a good approach. God is gathering evidence on us as to whether we will make it into heaven or into the eternal lake of fire which is horrific. So if you don't want to believe in God it would be worth considering believing in something. Scientists or starting to make more noise about the idea that we are the only beings existing in the universe. And whether anybody likes that or not that means we're at the top of the pyramid of self-knowing living biological entities. And the idea that we just randomly got here through some sort of eternal recombustion of all matter starting from a big bang is sort of silly. I'll be the first one to admit that the idea of an eternal God is kind of unsettling. I've heard preachers and everyone else ask the question, where did God come from? Now if you look in the Old testament nobody ever asks God where God came from. Adam and Eve didn't ask, Noah, Noah's wife, Noah's daughter-in-law's, none of the people working on the Tower of Babel, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, Jacob's 12 sons, and the list goes on and on until you get to the New testament. Jesus claims to be God in a flesh body, but nobody ever asked Jesus gee where did the Heavenly Father come from? My guess is if you had asked Jesus that you would get a non-conclusive answer. In Matthew chapter 20 two of Jesus disciples are brothers, their mom comes to Jesus and asks for a favor, Jesus says that is not my favor to be able to Grant, so I cannot grant them that favor. So although Jesus is God in a flesh body there are limits to what Jesus is going to do, but the point is Jesus probably wouldn't have given a definitive answer to where the heavenly father came from at that point. He may not know or He may not ever know.

There are people in the world that say we don't want Christians enforcing Christian values on us. What that means is they don't want to obey concepts in the Bible. And so the end conclusion of that is they don't want to obey God. Well there's nothing in the Bible, as far as laws and values go, that is twisted or sick in any way. But many of the values introduced from the world are sick. Once those values get instituted you end up with some place like Sodom or The tribe of Benjamin that had to be utterly destroyed.

Jesus warned that iniquity shall abound, we are in for a rough ride.
