live chat

 Live chat doesn't seem to work very well for me. They all start off with a computer chat. It says something like how can I help or please say a short phrase. Okay the problem with that is it's not live chat no human being ever says please say a short phrase. They usually say something like hi my name is Julie. They might say how can I help. Then I'll say something like are you guys running the Samsung Black Friday special on phones. They might say no, or they might say which phone we're already out of some of them. You see how the person immediately ties into the subject matter and immediately knows where we're going with the conversation and what it is I'm looking for. Almost invariably the live chat thing wanders around asking me for more information and saying do I understand that you have some information about phones? Or your are you seeking information about Samsung phones? Are you seeking Black Friday specials in our store? So they just keep on asking all kinds of stupid questions rather than just focusing on the fact that I want to know about a specific Black Friday deal or are they participating in certain Black Friday activities or something but instead the thing gets stuck just asking me a bunch of nonsense questions that aren't really getting any closer and that's not live chat. And I have to argue it's not AI either. It's just program the thing to pick up on some buzzwords that I'm saying and then spit them back to me as questions that doesn't get us any closer to getting me off the phone waste my time and makes me mad.
