Wyoming is miserable
In December January and February the average high is in the 30s. 35° f. Roughly.
The summer months are reasonable. Low humidity. Highs less than 100°f.
So far it doesn't sound miserable, but...
The wind blows much of the time, especially in the winter when it's cold. 40-70 miles per hour. Last year just about broke me. I had multiple "come to Jesus" talks. It was... Miserable.
Every year is different. So far there has been more snow this year, that makes driving tough, because it blows and drifts on the roads. People, especially with pickups, drive too fast. This causes stress and accidents.
Although it's a state with lots of energy sources, oil, coal, and wind, the cost of utilities is high. Yuck.
Some of the aspects here can be positive or negative depending on your perspective. This is a place where you need common sense. People that have a lapse in common sense or not too much common Sense will sometimes die. The state may put up a little guardrail next to a cliff. Well, if you hop over the guardrail and fall off the cliff, too bad for you. The court isn't going to Grant your relatives a whole bunch of money, because the state didn't put up a giant sign and a 15 ft chain link fence with barb wire across the top of it to keep you from falling off the cliff. There usually won't be any little sign. They just put up a little guardrail, and you're on your own.
Many of the highways don't have as many guardrails as you would expect in other states. If you blow off the road or slide off the road for some reason down into a ravine that may be the end for you. And some of these ravines may go down 50 ft or more.
Now if you're the type of person who stays at home and watches tons of propaganda on TV, then you'll probably do okay here. Just ignore all the weather and stay indoors. Then if you can afford to have all your groceries delivered, you won't have to face the wind too much. You do need to get some exercise probably, so you'll need an exercise bike or some sort of indoor exercise equipment. But think about it, you're basically saying you're going to sit in your house or apartment.
Things you'll notice here:
Women let their hair blow around and don't worry about it too much.
People don't bundle up too much they just get used to the wind and cold if they go out. They seem to use their pickup like a coat.
Lots of men and women drive pickups. They seem to think that helps them survive. They certainly use more gas and generally they're louder. And there are more dirt roads here so pickups help that way. But you can tell like most places the pickups never see a dirt road.
People don't talk too much about the wind.
Buffalo are wild animals and will trample you to death.
There aren't too many demons here, as people with demons tend to make bad decisions, which can be fatal.
