me and chess
I've played a variety of card games and other Board games but require a logic and Planning. But somehow chess seems to affect me differently. I'm not sure if it's because I started playing chess in junior high and took it as a personal challenge to beat other people or where I got such a Emotional response to losing. Another sort of strange aspect of this is that I don't really get very much satisfaction from winning.
Later: After posting this I went back and read it. If someone were to tell me What I said above I would tell them, "Hey quit playing chess you're not getting any satisfaction out of it and it's just frustrating you." Now it is highly likely that I will go on playing chess. But somehow it would be good to start enjoying winning, which I do occasionally.
