twitter - seems like

 

First of all I appreciate Elon Musk. He seems like kind of a common sense libertarian sort of a person. And taking over Twitter seems like a great idea. Basically it had become like a lot of Internet media, communist propaganda.

So I haven't used the thing in years and I went out and took a look at it.

My initial impression is the thing is becoming overly cluttered with videos and pictures and a bunch of little information about how to interact just all kinds of little goofy stuff all over the place that distracts from just looking at somebody's text message. Essentially text messages have sort of gotten lost in the noise of all the other junk going on. And then I had a pop up that said we're going to allow you to do video pictures text and memes all at the same time. Okay it just seems like we've lost touch with reality here. Maybe the average person wants three or four videos running simultaneously on the same screen with several pictures and text and then a whole bunch of little things you can click on and leave comments or thumbs up thumbs down and all kinds of crazy stuff but it's just overkill for me okay I mean I remember the thing used to be propaganda but it was basically text propaganda with maybe a picture a little tiny picture here and there. But now it's just gone completely berserk though.
