warm beer

 Warm beer usually doesn't sound appealing. Growing up and living in the US, you quickly become accustomed to ice cold beer. But there was some general purpose beer in the fridge which was relatively tasteless, so the thought occurred to warm it up and see if it brought out any more flavor. 

The slightly warm beer did have a little more flavor. It might have even been slightly more satisfying than the cold beer. It's winter time now so warm stuff sounds good. It did not transform this into some sort of fantastic drink though. It was still basic drinkable beer just with a little more flavor.
